plumbman Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) I have had the usual continuous beep problem from my parking sensors and tried all the simple tests - clicking - wiring etc. Then I noticed that the paint was bubbling on one of the sensors so I cleaned it all off. It was loose on the others so I cleaned it off them as well and what do know they are now working. Hope this might help others Edited May 5, 2011 by plumbman Quote

Mk2's arn't painted so if you do have paint on them then it shouldn't have been there in the first place  Quote

Mirez Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 No this is on the mark three which are painted to match the colour of the car when manufactured Ahhhh... you might want to post it in the Mk3 section then as it probably won't help many in here  Good tip but strange its peeling, any damage to that sensor or is it suspected manufacturing issue?
